1. What this policy covers
Cookies are small pieces of data stored by your browser. WanaImba also uses session storage within your browser for some unfinished forms. This policy describes the storage used by the current website and what happens when you choose an external service.
2. Essential WanaImba cookies
The sessionid cookie keeps you signed in and links requests to your server-side session. The current idle timeout is 30 minutes and the absolute session limit is 12 hours; deployment settings can change these limits. A session cookie may also be used before sign-in for security or service functions.
The csrftoken cookie helps protect forms and other state-changing requests against cross-site request forgery. Its default browser lifetime is approximately one year, and Django may rotate it after sign-in. A short-lived messages cookie may carry a one-time confirmation or error message. These cookies are needed for core site functions.
3. Form drafts in session storage
Some forms temporarily save entered fields in your browser's session storage so you can restore an unfinished draft. The shared draft feature ignores passwords and file uploads and discards saved values after one hour. Registration also saves eligible draft fields for the browser tab session. Session storage is separate from cookies and is not sent automatically with every request.
4. External services you choose
Google Fonts is requested when a page loads and may use normal browser caching. If you choose Google or Microsoft sign-in, their own websites may use cookies under their policies. If you choose to load an address search or map, Geoapify receives the required requests and Leaflet software is loaded from unpkg when needed; normal browser caching may apply. An external link such as WhatsApp takes you to that service, whose policy then applies. WanaImba does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies on its own pages.
5. Your controls and changes
You can clear or block cookies and session storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies can prevent sign-in, form submission, or other core features from working. WanaImba will update this policy and add any required choice controls before introducing non-essential tracking on its own pages.
